Well after a long lost friend hit me up about my blog, I finally decided to get on update it with everything I've been doing the past few months, so here we go!
Happy birthday to my little girl! My little angel turned one February 7th so I decided to be daring and make her cupcakes with flowers. They turned out pretty well I think, thanks to the boxed fondant frosting that Walmart carries.
My sister is expecting a little girl in May so I made her a receiving blanket. It was my first time ever sewing with Minky fabric and flannel together. It ended up so soft, I'm thinking about making a nice Minky blanket big enough for me :)
Easter is almost here! (I can't believe it). This year is just flying buy. I came across some pastel colored fat quarters and decided to cut them in to strips and sew them together. I also quilted the entire thing on my machine myself! With a quilting foot and a darning plate it ended up being a good learning experience for me. Can't wait to put it on the table
I'm been trying to improve my sewing techniques with animals, so here are a few of the animals I've made. My little girl absolutely loves them! Let me know if you're interested and I can tell you where I got the patterns
